Hattie (Nichols) Clemons Obituary

ALGER - Services for Hattie Clemons, 37, of
Dansville, Mich., formerly of Alger, will be 2
p.m. Friday in Quickstep Church, Alger, Rev.
George Hurt officiating. Burial will be in
Preston Cemetery. She was dead on arrival 1:15
p.m. Tuesday at Lima Memorial Hospital,
following a heart attack. 

Born April 13, 1932, in Breathitt County, Ky.,
she was a daughter of Kelly and Idabelle Patrick
Nichols. She was married to Charles Clemons, and
he survives. 

Also surviving are her father of 1506 Grant;
seven daughters, Mrs. Bessie Porter of Pinckney,
Mich., Betty, Dorothy, Brenda, Kathy, Debbie and
Kita, all at home; three sons, Bennie, Edward
and David, all at home; five sisters, Mrs.
Mattie McGun, Miss Beulah Nichols and Mrs.
Lizzie Adkins, all of Lima, Mrs. Hessie Sicemor
of Stockbridge, Mich., and Mrs. Elsie Risner of
Alger; two brothers, Hargis of Lima, Eugene of
Alger; and two grandchildren. 

Friends may call at 1506 Grant after noon today,
until time of services. Arrangements are being
handled by Hanson Funeral Home, Alger.
